“As a birth doula, prenatal and postpartum yoga teacher, Megan loves offering classes that support these unique life stages. With intentional movement, their classes encourage curiosity about one's experience in their body in that moment.”

Megan took their first yoga class in 2008 and knew immediately that they would one day become a yoga teacher. Through yoga they continue to discover a space for integration and clarity of mind.

They completed their first 200 hour yoga certification in 2011 and continued their studies and certifications in various styles including prenatal yoga, restorative yoga and Street Yoga- trauma informed yoga. Their personal yoga journey, accompanied by the motivation to share yoga with a more diverse population, led them to study Yoga Therapy with Sarahjoy Marsh. Megan completed 500 hours of study and is an IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist.

Alongside teaching yoga, Megan is a birth doula and is passionate about prenatal and postpartum yoga. They have seen how prenatal yoga creates space for people to embrace the mental, emotional and physical changes that accompany pregnancy. They are particularly joyful to get to see students postpartum and offers a space for compassionate exploration of this unique life phase.

Through yoga there is an opportunity to embrace and seek greater understanding of one’s body, mind and spirit. Megan’s classes are guided by breath awareness with a concentration on mindful, compassionate movement. Megan believes anyone and everyone can benefit from yoga and is continually inspired by their students and grateful to be able to share this journey with them.
